FAQ’s & Our Policies:

  • If you have two children who fall into different age brackets, feel free to enrol them both in the same session that suits your family best!

Our experienced educators will tailor guidance and support to meet each child where they’re at, ensuring both kids are engaged, challenged, and inspired. Please note this in the form when completing your order.

  • Absolutely! All of our classes are designed and taught by Ruby Chew and her experienced team of teaching artists - each of whom holds a current Working With Children Clearance.

Our staff are practicing artists with education backgrounds and a passion for inspiring young creatives. Ruby herself is an award-winning artist and educator with over 15 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours, 2010) and a Master of Teaching (2023), and is committed to delivering high-quality, engaging instruction tailored to each student's needs. Find out more about Ruby here.

  • Parents and guardians must sign students into class and out of class at the end of class.

    Signing in:
Please arrive around 5-10 minutes before class starts.
Come straight on in! We’ll be there to greet you and show you around.
There’ll be a sign in/out sheet on a clipboard on the front desk where you can sign your child in by writing your arrival time next to their name.

    Signing out:
Please sign your child out by writing the time you’re collecting them on the sign in/out sheet.

*Please do not leave until this is done. This helps us provide the best duty of care for all students :-)

  • Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting a bit dirty.
We recommend wearing sleeves that can be easily pulled up for hands-on activities. Layers are great, so they have the option of putting on a jacket if we sit outside. A hat and sunblock is encouraged.

Comfort is key, so feel free to dress in whatever makes you feel at ease!

  • If you need to contact us during class, please text Ruby or the number provided at drop off with:
    1. Your name
    2. Your child's name
    3. Your message
E.g. if you need to collect your child early, if there's been a change to the person collecting your child etc.
Text is best as we’re often hands-on making or facilitating :-) We’ll get back to you ASAP.
For emergencies, of course, please feel free to call us.

  • If your child is unwell, we kindly ask they refrain from attending classes to ensure the comfort and well-being of everyone. If a student misses a class due to illness, we offer make-up classes based on availability. Please reach out to us to schedule a make-up session!

  • We prioritise facilitating a creative, respectful and positive environment for all students. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. We follow a restorative practice approach, encouraging students to reflect on their actions and make amends. While we always aim to guide students gently back on track, if a child continues to struggle with this after a few reminders, we'll reach out to parents to discuss the best way forward and may ask you to pick up your child early. Our goal is to support every student in having a great experience!

  • We understand coming to Art Club can be overwhelming for some budding artists - you're most welcome to stay until they feel settled!

From there, we encourage children to participate independently in our classes. This helps foster their creativity and self confidence.

We want all students to feel comfortable in our classes. Our instructors are experienced in creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for everyone!

If you'd like to chat further, we'd love to hear from you! Any further info to help us make our Art Club the best experience for your child is very welcome! Please don't hesitate to get in touch.

  • Absolutely! We offer Buds Bundles and other discounts for multiple bookings. Please reach out if you have any questions!

  • Upon booking, please complete our Student Information Form to ensure we have all the info we need to create the best experience for your budding artist!
