Step into the spotlight - this day is a celebration of you!
Through drawing, collage and sculpture, we’ll explore symbols, colour and storytelling to create magical artworks that celebrate individuality and the everyday things that make each of us unique.
In the morning, we’ll design bold collage banners filled with colours, symbols and images that represent who we are. These vibrant artworks will be perfect for hanging in your room - like a personal flag celebrating your interests, personality and creativity.
In the afternoon, we’ll create mini-me treasure chests using matchboxes and photos taken on the day - tiny magical keepsake boxes where our faces open to reveal miniature treasures and symbols of the things we love. We’ll also design badges from recycled materials, celebrating the special qualities that make each of us shine - from the big to the wonderfully ordinary.
