Morning Session: Alien Masks
Design and construct a wild and wonderful alien mask using cardboard, collage, paint and markers! Inspired by contemporary artists like Damselfrau and Carolina Romanowska, we’ll explore bold forms, layered materials and expressive character design. Will your alien have three eyes? Glowing horns? A tangled nest of antennae? Build a wearable mask that stretches the limits of identity and imagination using trippy mirrored shapes, bright colours and structural tricks. Perfect for kids who love hands-on making and inventive design!
Afternoon Session: Glowing Illusion Paintings
In the afternoon, we’ll create atmospheric artworks that give the illusion of glowing neon lights within a speckled galaxy. Using acrylic paint on black canvas and paint markers for details - including metallic accents - artists will design cosmic scenes, glowing space creatures, or otherworldly skylines. This session is all about contrast, colour layering and imaginative world-building.
