Back by popular demand! One of our most-loved workshops returns with fresh ideas and even more ways to get creative. Today we’ll paint vibrant pots, build imaginative paper plants, and design secret “garden rocks” to hide or keep — a full day of colour, making, and playful invention.
Morning Session – Painted Pots & Garden Rocks
We’ll start by transforming terracotta pots with acrylic paint and Posca pens, exploring bold patterns, bright colours, and fun decorative details. Returning artists can create a matching set, while newcomers can try anything they dream up.
We’ll also paint tiny “garden rocks” — little artworks to hide around the studio garden for someone to find, or to take home as pocket treasures.
Afternoon Session – Paper Plants
In the afternoon, we’ll craft imaginative paper plants that twist, dangle, bloom or surprise. Using a mix of materials and sculptural techniques, budding artists will invent leafy creations that are colourful, quirky, or completely made-up. These can be placed in the morning’s pot or displayed on their own.
