Get ready to mash, mix, and morph your way through a hilarious day of cartoon-style drawing! In this imaginative, hands-on workshop, kids will explore surreal and surprising ways to invent characters using rotating paper, foldable formats and their wildest ideas.

Morning Session: Mix-and-Match Body Discs
Inspired by vintage spinning toys, we’ll create rotating paper discs with mix-and-match bodies - heads, torsos and legs that swap and spin to form bizarre, brilliant characters! We’ll play with cartooning techniques like proportion, shape exaggeration, movement lines and bold features to bring our creations to life.

Afternoon Session: Flip-Face Booklets
In the afternoon, we’ll dive into expressive faces - drawing eyes, noses, mouths and heads that fold and flip into each other to create endless mash-ups. Each artist will assemble their own flip-book full of cartoon characters that change with every turn of the page!
