Morning Session - Watercolour Play Lab
We’ll kick off the day with a Watercolour Play Lab: a fast-paced mix of drawing games and playful technique experiments. Budding artists will test out wet-on-wet magic, salt textures, gradient washes, resist techniques, mixed-media mark-making and more. It’s all about discovery, colour play, and unlocking new ways to paint that spark curiosity and confidence.
Afternoon Session - Watercolour Waterworlds
In the afternoon, we’ll imagine we’ve grown gills and can breathe underwater! You and your treasure-hunting team have discovered a glowing underwater world filled with hidden riches… but it’s guarded by a giant evil octopus. How will you make your way to the golden bounty?
Artists will sketch out their underwater scene, then use watercolour techniques like wet-in-wet blending, gradients, soft edges and layered washes to bring the world to life. From shimmering treasure to swirling seaweed and looming tentacles, every artwork becomes its own ocean adventure.
