Morning: Clay Critters
Step into the miniature world of bugs. Young artists will sculpt creatures from air dry clay, learning essential clay techniques including joining, cutting and sgraffito. Make a favourite real-life insect or invent a species nobody has ever discovered - cute, creepy, colourful or completely peculiar.

Afternoon: Bug’s Eye View

Get down low and see the world through bugs eyes! In this plein-air drawing and watercolour session, young artists will explore perspective from ground level, looking upwards and imagining what the environment might feel like when you’re only a few millimeters tall. Blades of grass become towering forests, mushrooms become houses and ordinary gardens become enormous landscapes.

Sometimes you have to get really, really small to see something BIG.
